The 4th Annual Pittsburgh Regional All-Day Sacred Harp Singing is just a week from today! Indications are we will have significantly more out-of-town singers coming than in past years. Chances are good we will have more than 50 singers in attendance. If you enjoy singing Sacred Harp, you don't want to miss this!
Be aware that there are plans for a social following the singing.
Also, the regular fourth Sunday singing in Edinboro will be taking place as usual the next day.
Here are the vitals:
When: Saturday, March 23, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Where: Second United Presbyterian Church
300 Hay St.
Pittsburgh, PA 15221
There will be a pot-luck lunch in the middle of the day. If you live in the Pittsburgh area, please bring a dish to share.

Sacred Harp Sings are a traditional way for people to get together and sing. Using the Sacred Harp shape-note tune book as a source, a sing allows all participants the opportunity to stand in the center of the "hollow square" and lead a tune.
Charles Anderson has been teaching and leading Sacred Harp sings in the Pittsburgh area for 25 years.
